Nepali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has thanked everyone after the end of Nepal's match in the ICC T20 World Cup. Through his Facebook page, he has made public this opinion. In the 2024 T20 World Cup, Nepal has been out of the tournament after losing consecutively. But Nepal's challenge to powerful cricket teams like South Africa and Bangladesh is considered important.

Sandeep took 2 wickets in the match against Bangladesh and set a record for his 100 wickets in T20 cricket. He had to go through many ups and downs. While he was leading the Nepali team, he was arrested on charges of rape and even went to jail. After the Court of Appeal cleared, he returned to cricket and managed to set a world record despite limited practice.

Sandeep Lamichhane wrote on Facebook that"Everything feels like it was yesterday. I’m deeply grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement you all have given to me along the way. Every blessing feels like an additional responsibility. Your support throughout this journey has been a source of immense solidity and strength. I look forward to sharing many more achievements and moments of joy. Jay Nepal."
