Nepal has failed to get entry into World Cup Cricket. Nepal's dream of getting entry to the World Cup has come to an end even though Nepal failed to reach the Super Six under World Cup Cricket Qualifiers. Today, Nepal lost to the Netherlands by 7 wickets in Harare. In that match, Nepal had given a normal target of 168 runs.
The Netherlands achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 27.1 overs. Sandeep Lamichhane took two wickets and Gulsan Jha took one wicket for Nepal in that match.
Captain Rohit Paudel scored the highest 33 runs for Nepal. Similarly, Sandeep Lamichhane scored 27, Gulsan Jha 15, Dipendra Singh Airi 14, Kushal Malla 12, Arif Sheikh 6, Bhim Sarki 22, Kushal Bhurtel 27 and Karan KC scored 1 run.
Nepal defeated the USA in the World Cup qualifiers and lost to the West Indies, Zimbabwe, and the Netherlands.
