Kapoor Sharma Poudel of National Creative Co-Educational School (NCCS) has won a gold medal in men's singles veteran above 55 under the Fifth Samjhana Cup International Table Tennis Championship. Kapoor defeated Kapil Kumar of Team Samjhana in 16-14, 8-11, 16-14, 2-11, and 11-7 sets in the final match held at Lainchour-based National Table Tennis Training Centre. Prakash Dhakwa of Team Samjhana and Rajan Subba of Gandaki Province secured second and third positions in the championship respectively. Out of seven gold medals in the championship, four gold medals have already been finalized. Global Table Tennis Academy of India won a gold medal in the men's category of Team Event and Nepal Police Club and Indira Poudel of Gyanbhairab Dillibazaar Table Tennis Club in women's singles veteran above 40 years. The final match of men-women singles and men-singles veteran above 40 years is yet to be held.
