Khadga Bahadur Khadka of the Tribhuvan Army Club has bagged the title under the eighth edition of the 'Dhara Nepalgunj Marathon'.
He finished the 42 kilometers race in 2 hours 20 minutes, said TS Thakuri, chairperson of the organizing Creative Hands, and founder of the Nepalgunj Marathon. Narendra Singh Raut of the Nepali Army finished as the first runner-up, and Mohan Dev Joshi of the Army was the second runner-up.
Khadka received Rs 150,000 in cash and a certificate. Similarly, the first runner-up got Rs 60,000 and a certificate, the second runner-up Rs 30,000 and a certificate, the third runner-up Rs 15,000 and a certificate, the fourth runner-up Rs 10,000 and a certificate, the fifth runner-up Rs 8,000 and certificate, the seventh runner-up Rs 7,000 and certificate and the eighth runner-up Rs 6,000 and certificate.
