Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Monday bid farewell to the Nepali U-19 team that is going to play ACC U-19 Men's Asia Cup Cricket in UAE from December 23.
The team was selected on the basis of their outstanding performance in the U-19 Men's National Cricket Tournament organized by CAN. The association is confident that this tournament will be a good opportunity for the Nepali cricket team.
Nepal, in Group B, will play its first match against Bangladesh on December 23. Along with Nepal and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Kuwait are in this group. Nepal will play Sri Lanka on December 26 and Kuwait on December 28.
India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and UAE are in Group A. The top two teams from both groups will advance to the semifinals.
