Pankaj Bikram Nembang has won the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Presidential Election. Nembang secured 45 votes while his opponent Karma Tsering Sherpa got 39 in the 21st ANFA Ordinary Congress 2022 at Hotel Park Village Resort in Kathmandu.
On the other hand, Bir Bahadur Khadka won the Senior Vice President election defeating Shixit Parajuli. Khadka secured 44 votes to Parajuli’s 40.
Similarly, Dawa Lama, Birat Jung Shahi, Dipak Khatiwada and Dirgha Bahadur KC won the Vice President election. Lama secured 48 votes, Shahi and Khatiwada won 47 each and KC received 43 votes. They edged past Sundar Narsingh Joshi (41), Upendra Man Singh (37), Bigyan Raj Sharma (37) and Ratna Kumar Shrestha (36).
Sarala Shrestha and Pema Dolma Lama won the Executive Committee members (women) election. Manish Joshi, Anil Malla, Rabindra Chand, Bikash Narayan Shrestha, Bhojraj Shahi, Mahendra Chhetri, Purushottam Thapa, Ramesh Byanjankar, Maniraj Bista, Tika Ram Lama and Bharat Budh Thapa became the members.
The two remaining members of the Executive Committee will be decided in the next ANFA Congress as per the ANFA statute and suggestions from the FIFA and AFC delegates.
