Nepal has won the fourth consecutive victory in the ICC U-19 World Cup Asia region qualifiers. In the match on Tuesday, they won by 10 wickets against Malaysia.
Pursuing the normal target of 73 runs given by Malaysia for victory, Nepal completed it without losing a wicket in 9 overs. For Nepal, opener Deepak Bohra scored 37 runs while another opener Arjun Kumal scored 21 runs.
Before that, Malaysia, who won the toss and batted first, was bowled out for 72 runs in 35.3 overs by Nepal. For Malaysia, Akram Malek added 26 runs while Hyril Harrison and Mohammad Sahir added 12 runs each. Other players could not touch double runs in Nepal's deadly bowling.
On the bowling side, Nepal's Dipesh Kadel single-handedly took 4 wickets. He has taken 4 important wickets with only 11 runs in 10 overs. Similarly, Akash Chand took 3 wickets, Milan Bohara took 2 wickets and Subas Bhandari took 1 wicket.
Along with this, Nepal has registered its fourth consecutive victory in the ongoing qualifying competition. Nepal will now play against UAE on Thursday.
