KATHMANDU: Nepal achieved an exciting win over Australia in their second match of 'The Hong Kong Sixes' cricket tournament.
After advancing from their first match, Nepal beat Australia by 11 runs today. In their initial match yesterday morning, Nepal also emerged victorious against England, winning by 6 wickets.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Nepal scored 111 runs for 2 wickets in the 6 overs allowed.
Captain Sandeep Zora spearheaded the effort with a stellar half-century, making 51 runs, while Lokesh Bam added 33 runs.
Bibek Yadav and Rashid Khan contributed 12 runs each, and Narayan Joshi chipped in with 1 run.
On the bowling side, Pratis GC shone with 3 wickets for Nepal, while Lokesh Bam and Bivek Yadav each took 1 wicket.
