Nepal makes it to the final with a historic victory over India in the 6th edition of Women's SAFF Championship, 2022.
In today's second semi-final match, Nepal defeated the former champion India by 1-0.
This is the first-ever historical victory made by Nepal after beating India. Rashmi Kumari Ghising scored the decisive and winning goal for Nepal, who is also the former runner-up. She scored in the first half, after the ball was passed by Priti Rai.
Nepal will now be facing Bangladesh in the finals. The final match will be taking place on Monday. Similarly, Bangladesh has already entered the final round after defeating Bhutan 8-0 in the first semi-final.
