Nepali national football team is playing its second friendly match against India today. Nepal will compete with India at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor. The match between Nepal and India will start at 5:30 pm.
Nepal is playing friendly match with India in preparation for the SAAF Championship to be held in Maldives. The SAAF Championship is scheduled to be held from October 1 to 16 (September 15 to 30).
The first match between Nepal and India ended in a 1-1 draw. Anjan Bista scored in the 36th minute of the match to give Nepal an early lead. However, Aniruddha Thapa scored in the 60th minute for India to level the score at 1-1.
As the first match ended in a draw, both the teams are planning to win the second. The coaches of both the teams said that they would win the second match by correcting the shortcomings.
This will be Nepal's 21st match against India.
