The Nepali cricket team reached Sri Lanka on Thursday to play the second match of the Asia Cup. After the match against Pakistan under Group A, the Nepali team went to Sri Lanka for the match against India.
In the second match, Nepal will compete against another strong team, India, in Kandy, Sri Lanka, on Monday.
In the first match in Pakistan on Wednesday, Nepal's home team lost to Pakistan by 238 runs.
Chasing the challenging target of 343 runs given by Pakistan for victory, Nepal was reduced to 104 (104) runs for the loss of all wickets in 23.4 overs.
In the Asia Cup, Nepal, India and Pakistan are in Group 'A'. Group 'B' has Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The top two teams from the group will enter the Super Four. The top two teams of the Super Four will compete for the title.
Although Pakistan is the host of the Asia Cup, most of the matches are being conducted in Sri Lanka. After India refused to play in Pakistan, the Asia Cup matches were conducted in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
