Parbati Gurung of Nepal Police has won the gold medal in the 10th Korean Ambassador Open National Virtual Poomsae Taekwondo.
Gurung bagged the gold medal with 7.13 points in the women's single category of 18-35 years.
Likewise, Sina Maden of the Nepal Army won the second prize with 6.84 points.
Similarly, Ayasha Shakya and Prasamsha Chhetri remained in the third position with 6.61 points and 6.54 points, respectively.
The top three position holders of the tournament are the gold medal winners of the 13th South Asian Games (SAG).
In the competition, Srijal Shrestha of Godavari International stood first in the men's single category of 15 to 17 years with 6.38 points.
Likewise, Sujan Shrestha of Nepal Army stood second with 6.34 points while Aayush Dhungel of Mulpani Dozang and Yagya Rai of Chandra Surya secured the third position.
In women's single category of 12-14 years, Sandhya Lama got a gold medal; Sargam Thapa won a silver medal; Roshani Shah, and, Tara Waiba jointly clinched the bronze medal.
The event is being organised by Nepal Taekwondo Association with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kathmandu.
