Nepali national cricket team captain Sandeep Lamichhane has been blacklisted by the immigration department. Lamichhane, who is accused of raping a minor, was blacklisted by the department after the arrest warrant was issued.
The Kathmandu District Court gave permission to arrest him last Thursday. The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has also suspended him from the captaincy after the release of the allowance. Lamichhane is currently in Jamaica to play in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
