Sandeep Lamichhane is leaving for the United Kingdom to participate in ‘The Hundred’ cricket tournament. He will be leaving for the destination via a Turkish Airlines flight tonight.
Meanwhile, on reaching the UK, Lamichhane will have to stay in 10-day quarantine. If both the PCR reports are negative which will be conducted twice during the quarantine then only will Lamichhane be allowed to participate in the tournament.
Lamichhane will be playing for the Oval during the tournament. The tournament will kick off from July 22 with Oval playing the Manchester Originals in the inaugural game. The tournament which was supposed to be held last year could not take place due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
After ‘The Hundred’ tournament Lamichhane will be participating in the Caribbean Premier League.
