Nepal lost to UAE by 25 runs in the second match of the four-nation T20 series.
Following the UAE's target of 193 runs in Oman, Nepal lost 5 wickets in 20 overs and managed to score only 167 runs.
Dipendra Singh Airy scored 41, Ashif Sheikh 34, Lokesh Bam 33, Gyanendra Malla 22, Arif Sheikh 11, and Sharad Bheshavkar 10 for Nepal. Bam, who made his debut in the national team, scored 33 runs.
Nepal changed the opening pair on Saturday and brought in former captains Gyanendra Malla and Asif Sheikh. The two got off to a good start by sharing 53 runs in 6 overs for the first wicket.
Nepal defeated Oman in the first match of the four-nation series. Now, Nepal will play the last match of this series against Ireland on Monday.
