Third edition of Anup Smriti Gold Cup football in second week of December

The third edition of the Anup Smriti Invitational Gold Cup Football, which is being conducted in Khotang, will be held in the coming month. The third edition of the Gold Cup has been organized in memory of Anup Rai, a student of Mount Everest Boarding School, who lost his life when he was hit by a tractor on May 1, 2069.


The first and second place teams in the Gold Cup, which will be held at the Matikore Sports Ground in Diktel, will receive a cup, medal and certificate along with Rs. Similarly, the two semi-finalist two teams will receive certificates along with Rs 25,000-25,000 in cash, said Sagar Joshi, coordinator of the main organizing committee of the competition.
