Nepal Volleyball Association, Gandaki Province has honored four individuals in recognition of their contribution to the advancement of volleyball.
Those honored are Association central advisor and former national volleyball player Hari Prasad Parajuli, Tiger Group of Pokhara Nepal's chair Narayan Prasad Sharma and singers behind the volleyball-themed song 'Lau Aayo Volleyball' Arju Bist Salyani and Binod Baniya.
The programme was held on Wednesday in presence of Association office bearers.
During the event, honoured personality Parajuli said he had dedicated his entire life to sports, underlining the need of unwavering commitment and determination to achieve success in a sports career. "Discipline and management are vital aspects in sports."
Singer Baniya said the song dedicated to all volleyball players, promoters and audiences has been available on YouTube since August 18.
