Tanka Lal Ghising , Member Secretary of National Sports Council, Nepal and Nepal Volleyball Association bade farewell to Nepal Men's Volleyball Team for CAVA - Central Asian Volleyball Association Nations Men's Volleyball League to be held from 18 - 25 June 2023 in Bishkek , Kyrgyzstan. On this occasion, Nepal Volleyball Association also feliciated Mr. Dawa Chiring Sherpa for kissing his success to climb on the summit of Mt. Everest ( Sagarmatha ) in 2080 Jestha 09. He is the first person to reach the summit from the Volleyball family of Nepal.
Ghising handed over a letter of appreciation and an amount of Rs. 25000 /- cash to Dawa on the farewell program to boost up the morale of an athlete .
