Tourism sector bouncing back: Foreign tourists increase by 91%

Amid the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, the influx of foreign tourists to Nepal has increased by over 91 percent.

Tourism arrival spike post-lockdown, around 15k foreign tourists recorded

The number of foreign tourists' arrival has begun rising since the lifting of the lockdown (last July) in the country. According to the Department of Immigration, March month has recorded the highest influx of tourists since last July.
