The National Independent Party has taken action against proportional member of parliament Dhaka Kumar Shrestha.

The meeting held on Wednesday decided to expel Shrestha as an ordinary member of the party. Along with this, his position as an MP will go.

The audio of Shrestha demanding Rs 2 crore from B&C Medical College owner Durga Prasai was released on Sunday.
