An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted Halmahera, Indonesia at 1251 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 160.1 km, was initially determined to be at 1.11 degrees north latitude and 127.52 degrees east longitude.
