Journalist Lakshmi Pun has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Pashupati Area Development Trust.
Pun was appointed to the post by a meeting of PADT Governing Council held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Sudan Kirati.
The tenure of the outgoing Executive Director Ghanashyam Khatiwada ended on December 17.
She is a Central member of CPN Maoist Center.
Lakshmi Pun was also the Central Secratary of Federation of Nepalese Journalists FNJ . She has worked as an English news editor and news anchor in Nepal Television.
