Two die in motorcycle accident
Jaleshwor, Jan 9: Two persons died in an accident occurred after two motorcycles collided with each other along the Jaleshwor-Bardibas road in Mahottari last night.
Those killed in accident are- Mukesh Chamar, 30, from Thalahi Birta of Ramgopalpur municipality, and Dharmendra Mahato, 32, from Bhangaha municipality-3, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Dilip Kumar Giri.
Two pillion riders were injured in the accident. They are Shree Ram Gosai, 32, from Bhangaha-5, and Pradip Kumar Yadav, 36, from Bardibas municipality. They have been receiving treatment at Shuva Swastik Hospital, Bardibas.
Although both motorcyclists were taken to hospital after accident, they breathed their last during treatment. The police informed that the vehicles were at high speed. The thick fog causing low visibility also contributed to the accident, police added.
Two persons were killed in a motorcycle accident along the Hetauda-Kulekhani-Kathmandu road.
A motorcycle (Bagmati Province 02020 Pa 4237) heading to Hetauda from Kathmandu skidded off the road and met with an accident at Jurikhet of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6 in Makawanpur district on Wednesday evening, said the district police office.
The dead have been identified as the motorcycle driver, Lalbabu Sahani Malaha, 25, and the pillion passenger Rabindra Mandal, both of them from Pasauni Municipality-5 in Bara district. Malaha died at Hetauda hospital, and Mandal on the spot, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Karki.
