Gyanu Shrestha, a businessman of Nepali origin, has been appointed as a city council member in Brandford, Connecticut, USA.

Shrestha has been appointed to the Representative Town Meeting on behalf of the Democratic Party for the Town of Bradford.

He has been appointed by the Democratic Party from District 4 in the City of Brandford. He has been living in America since 2001.
