Raghunath Basnet, aged 40, of Dolakha, Shailung, who entered the house when no one was around on different dates in Lalitpur Metropolitan City and stole jewelry and cash, has been arrested. Before this, he was prosecuted in 9 theft cases and 3 indecent behavior cases, totaling 12 cases. Police are investigating Basnet.

Cash and property worth approximately Rs 37,16,925 were stolen from the house of Thakur Nath Dhakal, a resident of Jhamsikhel. An investigation is being conducted in connection with the incident of theft of equivalent cash and property estimated price 24, 76,000 from Supriya Rai’s room in Sanepa.

According to the police, an investigation is also being conducted about the theft from the room of a German citizen Daniel Fuchs, living in Sanepa, and a Norwegian citizen, Jenirik Subs tudsrod, who lives in Banimandal.
