Two Bhutanese nationals killed in jeep mishap

Chautara (Sindhupalchok), Jan 31: Two Bhutanese nationals were killed when a jeep they were travelling in met an accident at Doring cliff, Helambu rural municipality-1 of Sindhupalchok district. Five people have sustained injuries in the mishap involving the jeep (Ba 2 Cha 4450), said Inspector of Police at the District Police Office, Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.

 Police identified the deceased as 33-year-old Abgey and 71-year-old Wangmu. They died on the spot. Four among the injured are Bhutanese and one is a Nepali. The injured Nepali is 42-year-old Ram Chandra Bhandari of Helambu rural municipality-2, the jeep driver while the Bhutanese include Haiz, 74, Phupa Chhiring, 42, Guchi, 65, and Fang, 56.

 The injured have been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment, according to police
