Under the 14th edition of the ‘Khumbu Lhosar Cup’ football competition, Mahendra Jyoti Ex Students Forum and Khumjung Yuva Club entered the finals in the 2 semi-final matches held today at Sano Gaucharan Sports Ground in Kathmandu. In the first match between Mahendra Jyoti Ex Students Forum and Damichhowa football team, Mahendra Jyoti Ex Students Forum won by penalty shootout after both teams failed to score within the time.

Mahendra Jyoti Ex Students Forum player Nigma Temwa Sherpa won the man of the match. Similarly, in the second match of the semi-final between Khumbu Yambu Sherpa Society and Khumjung Yuva Club today, Khumjung Yuva Club won by 0-1 goal difference. The man of the match was Chiring Sherpa, a player of Khumjung Yuva Club. Organizers said that the third place match will start tomorrow at 11:00 pm and the final match will start at 1:00 pm.
