2 medals for Arica Gurung in USA
Arica Gurung of Nepal has won one gold and one silver in the US Open International Karate Championship in America.
In the match completed on Sunday night, Arika defeated the Canadian player 9-0 in the U-21 elite women’s 68 kg weight group.
Similarly, Arica was defeated in the finals of Senior Elite 68 kg. In the final, he was defeated by the American player 3-2.
Biplavlal Shrestha, another participating player from Nepal, was stopped in the semi-finals.
