The friendly invitation of President Ramchandra Paudel, Emir (King) of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Nepal on Tuesday afternoon on a two-day state visit.

President Paudel welcomed the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to the special room of the Tribhuvan Airport.

On that occasion, the Nepali Army gave a 21-gun salute in his honor.

On the occasion, Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Speaker, Chairman of the National Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister, Ministers and other high-ranking government officials were present.

This is the first visit of the Emir of Qatar to Nepal.

 On the occasion of the visit of the emir of Qatar, the government has decided to make Tuesday a public holiday.

Amir Thani of Qatar will meet with President Ramchandra Paudel at Rashtrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday. In the same evening, he will attend the dinner hosted by President Paudel at Solti Hotel.
