Nepalese Ambassador to United States of America Sridhar Khatri, addressing the swearing-in ceremony virtually of the new batch of Peace Corps volunteers for Nepal, congratulated the volunteers and expressed hope that after their enriching cultural and professional experiences in Nepal they would join more than 3500 former Peace Corps volunteers whom Nepal considers as its close friends and cultural goodwill ambassadors.

Peace Corps Country Director for Nepal Troy Kofroth shared that the new batch of volunteers include E-learning Volunteers and Response Volunteers for the first time. The Ambassador appreciated the introduction of Response Volunteers and E-learning Volunteers. He expressed confidence that these volunteers, working together with Nepali-American IT experts and entrepreneurs, will be able to contribute significantly towards taking Nepal to a newer height in E-learning and overall IT sector development in an AI era.
