Two people have died in a road accident that took place early this morning near Ratanagala in Birendranagar municipality along the Surkhet-Dailekh road section. The accident involved a jeep with passengers going to Kalikot from Surkhet.
According to the District Traffic Police Office, Surkhet, the body of one of the deceased was found stuck in a tree and the two injured have been rushed to the provincial hospital for treatment. Details of the accident are yet to be received.
Meanwhile, as soon as information about the accident was received, a team of security personnel was mobilized for rescue, the Office said.
Two people have died in a road accident that took place involving a tractor in Dadeldhura last night.
The deceased have been identified as the tractor driver Dhiraj Thapamgar,40, of Gajuri rural municipality-7 of Dhading and Bishnu BK,27, of Rodang rural municipality, according to district police office, Kusum Nayak, the information officer of the office,
The tractor (Bagmati Pradesh 01-001 Ka. 9651) met with the accident at Sirod of Navadurga Rural Municipality-4. Two others were injured including Sudeep BK,31, of Rodang Rural Municipality of Dhading and Hikmat BK,28, of Navadurga Rural Municipality-4, Dadeldhura.
They are undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura hospital, police said.
