Sambrdhi School has become the Champion of Geetanjali SEE Cup Futsal Tournament. In the final of the competition, Sambridhi School defeated Heartland School and won the title. 30 teams participated in the competition held today. Nagarjuna Academy’s Roshan Ranamgar bagged the top scorer award in the tournament with a total of 7 goals in 3 matches.

Samrudhi School’s Bijay Gurung won the Best Goalkeeper and Laxman Thami won the Best Player awards.

Prizes were awarded to the winning team and players, referees and national futsal players. Bichari Prasad Adhikari, Chief of Education Development and Coordination Unit, Kathmandu, Govinda Prasad Acharya, Chairperson of Geetanjali College, Principal Bed Prasad Panta presented the awards.

Geetanjali College is going to provide full scholarship of class 11 to the best 5 players of this competition.
