Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has returned home this evening after completing his official visit to India.
He was welcomed by high-ranking officials in the VVIP lounge of Tribhuvan International Airport.
Prime Minister Dahal left for New Delhi on Sunday afternoon leading the Nepalese delegation to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for the third term.
He attended the special swearing-in ceremony and dinner of Prime Minister Modi held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday evening.
After the swearing-in ceremony, there was a brief meeting between Prime Minister Dahal and his counterpart Modi. Prime Minister Dahal had a courtesy meeting with the President of India Draupadi Murmu today. The Prime Minister’s Secretariat said that during the meeting, various aspects of Nepal-India relations were discussed between them.
Taking part in the ‘Food System Summit +2’ organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) at Rome in Italy, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal returned home a while ago.
Speaker of House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timmilsina, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Minister for Tourism Sudan Kirati others received the PM at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Currently, the PM is holding a news conference at the TIA.
