Incidentally, this State Grievance Cell was created after the Tilottama incident. Dr. Saurabh Dutt became its chairman. According to the members of this cell, they have received many complaints in the last few months. After hearing them, they felt that the Chief Minister needs to meet junior and senior doctors once. There is a need to listen to everyone. That is why they put this proposal to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister has finally accepted that proposal.
Incidentally, late last year, Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee called a ‘coordination’ meeting with doctors at the Amtala Samadhi Auditorium in Diamond Harbour. More than a thousand doctors were present. Trinamool doctor leader Shantanu Sen was seen as the organizer. This time, there is talk that the State Grievance Cell is calling the meeting on its own initiative. Now let’s see what message Mamata gives from this new meeting after Abhishek.
