KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has bid farewell to the national U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. The Nepali U-19 women’s team will leave for Malaysia on Saturday afternoon.
CAN bid farewell to them in the presence of Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary at a program organized on Friday.
The tournament will be held in Malaysia from Magh 5. Nepal, which is in Group ‘D’, will play its first match against Bangladesh on January 18. The second match will be played against Scotland on January 20 and the third match against Australia on January 22. Nepal will also play two warm-up matches before the World Cup matches.
