KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have both risen in the domestic market today.
The price of gold has increased by 1,600 rupees per tola, reaching 155,700 rupees per tola, as reported by the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation.
Last week, gold prices had surged by 8,800 rupees per tola on Thursday and Friday, and by 500 rupees per tola on Wednesday.
On Friday, gold was trading at 154,100 rupees per tola.
Silver has also seen a rise of 15 rupees per tola, now priced at 1,860 rupees per tola, compared to 1,845 rupees per tola on Friday.
