KHOTANG: Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality has established the ‘Mundum International Art Museum’ at Diktel bazaar.

The art museum has been established to promote tourism in the district through the medium of art and preserve indigenous culture.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey inaugurated the art museum amidst a programme today.

On the occasion, Minister Pandey lauded the initiatives of the municipality to promote and preserve the art, literature and indigenous culture.

The municipality had organized the Mundum International Art Workshop and exhibition on October 4-7 in 2023.
