NEPSE index rises by 6.78 points, trading volume exceeds Rs 6.5 billion

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a modest improvement. Today, the NEPSE index rose by 6.78 points to settle at 2,679.99.

According to NEPSE, 13,677,983 shares of 311 companies were bought and sold 74,403 times, generating a turnover of Rs 6.57 billion, 477,886.

Today, the share price of Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has seen the highest increase of 9.05 percent. The share prices of Win Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Super Madi Hydropower Limited have entered a negative circuit.

In terms of transaction amount, the highest share value of Rs 240 million, 188 thousand, 404, was bought and sold by River Falls Power Limited. In terms of the number of shares traded, the highest share value of 377 thousand, 646, was traded by Himalayan Power Partner Limited.
