Actor Vijay Baral is set to receive a significant payout for his role in the film Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi. Instead of taking a fixed fee, Vijay opted for a 5% share of the film’s profits—a decision that is expected to earn him between 900,000 and 1 million rupees. Producer Vinod Poudel has confirmed that Vijay will receive his payment in the coming weeks.

Although internal disagreements within the film’s team initially caused delays, these issues have now been resolved. The distributor is expected to transfer the funds to the producer soon, ensuring Vijay receives his rightful share.

The film has been a massive success, earning an impressive 50 crore at the box office. With the producer set to receive 18 to 19 crore, Vijay’s 5% stake translates into a substantial amount.
In Nepal, it is uncommon for actors to agree to a profit-sharing model, as most prefer a fixed payment. However, there is growing discussion about top actors considering this approach more seriously. Directed by Saroj Poudel, Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi has made history with its remarkable box office performance. The film also stars Mukun Bhusal, Prakash Saput, and Anjana Baraili, adding to its stellar ensemble cast.
