KATHMANDU: Australia posted a target of 140 runs for Nepal in the Women’s Under 19 World Cup on Wednesday at YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi, Malaysia.

Batting first Australia scored 139 runs in a loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Australia’s Caoimhe Bray scored 45 runs, Eleanor Larosa 31, Hasrat Gill 30, Chloe Ainsworth scored 16, Ines McKeon 8 and Kate Pelle scored 3 runs.

Nepali bawler Puja Mahato took three wickets and Seemana KC took two wickets. Riya Sharma took a single wicket.
