Police have arrested one man on the charge of sexually abusing a minor girl on Monday. The victim is only 15 years old.

The accused has been identified as Rajendra Rai, alias ‘Suimare’, a 50-year-old local resident of Dinduk Tole in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-4.

Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from District Police Office, Okhaldhunga arrested the accused on Wednesday.

Police are conducting further investigation regarding the matter.
