As of Sunday morning, the weather in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Karnali provinces is partly cloudy. Mist and fog are widespread in many areas of the Terai.
The weather bulletin from the Weather Forecasting Division reports that the rest of the country is generally clear.
The bulletin further advises, “Mist and fog are expected to continue in several Terai and valley areas this morning. Precautions are recommended as these conditions may disrupt daily activities, agriculture, health, transport, and air travel.”
Earlier today, the temperature in the Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 8°C, with a forecasted high of 18°C in the capital later this afternoon.
