1,365 Nepalis among 1.4 million immigrants to be deported by US

KATHMANDU: The United States of America (USA) has released the list of illegal immigrants. After Donald Trump became president, the US government has continued the process of returning illegal immigrants home.

In the meantime, the number of 1.445 million immigrants from various countries who will be deported from the US has been made public.

According to the list released by the US Immigration Office, 1,365 Nepalis will also be deported from the US.

There are 261,651 from Honduras, 253,413 from Guatemala, 252,444 from Mexico and 23,822 from El Salvador. 37,908 people from China and 17,940 from India will also be deported from the US.

Trump has launched the largest mass deportation campaign of immigrants living in the US illegally. Trump signed an executive order to this effect shortly after taking office. The largest number of those to be deported from the US are citizens of Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico and El Salvador.
