Vijay Baral is riding high on success! With blockbuster hits, a packed calendar, and skyrocketing star power, his career took off after Purna Bahadurko Sarangi. Baral has since become one of the most sought-after actors in the industry.
He is set to appear in two highly anticipated sequels, Kabaddi 5 and Jaari 2, with shoots for both films scheduled to begin in Baisakh. He has also signed on for Janai Harayeko Bahun.
His schedule is already packed, but there’s a twist: his growing list of film commitments could force him to step down as one of the judges on Comedy Darbar.
Since its inception, Comedy Darbar has been one of the most popular shows on the Nepali television circuit, and viewers are still hoping to see Baral on screen.
However, with his busy film schedule, it’s uncertain whether he will continue his role on the show.
At a recent event, Baral told the media, “I may have to say goodbye to Comedy Darbar.”
He has already filmed three upcoming episodes and plans to focus entirely on films after that. “I don’t think I can step away from films now,” he admitted.
“It’s going to be a tough road ahead.” While switching between different roles used to be relatively easy, he revealed that it’s becoming more difficult as his commitments increase. Talks are reportedly ongoing to find a solution regarding his exit from the show.
Sources close to the actor say that Baral had initially signed a contract for 26 episodes, but who will replace him remains a mystery for now.
What do you think? Should Vijay Baral continue to juggle both movies and TV, or should he focus solely on films?
