KATHMANDU: Tribhuwan International (TIA) is willingly emerging as a major commercial entity while keeping itself to the role of infrastructure provider for airlines and other clients. Following are the list of charges category for both domestic and international fight operator:
Landing: Domestic
When an aircraft is landed in this airport the operator should pay the landing charge according to the following points.
-For aircraft with an All-Up Weight of up to 10,000 kilograms, the applicable charge is Rs. 55.00 for for every 1,000 kilograms.
-Similarly, for weights ranging from 10,001 kg to 25,000 kg, the charge is structured with a base fee for the first 10,000 kg at Rs. 550.00, followed by an additional charge of Rs. 110.00 for every subsequent 1,000 kg.
Landing International
When an aircraft is landed in this airport the operator should pay the landing charge according to the following points.
-For aircraft with an All-Up Weight of up to 10,000 kilograms, the applicable charge is US$ 1.25 for every 1,000 kilograms.
-For aircraft with an All-Up Weight between 10,001 kilograms and 25,000 kilograms, the fee structure is as follows: the charge for the first 10,000 kilograms is US$ 12.25. Beyond this weight, an incremental charge of US$ 2.50 is applicable for each additional 1,000 kilograms.
– The All-Up Weight of the aircraft is categorized as follows: for weights ranging from 25,001 kg to 50,000 kg, the charge for the initial 25,000 kg is set at US$ 49.00. For any weight exceeding 25,000 kg, an additional fee of US$ 3.75 per 1,000 kg will be applied.
-For aircraft with an All-Up Weight between 50,001 kg and 75,000 kg, the fee structure is as follows: the charge for the initial 50,000 kg is set at US$ 140.50. For any weight exceeding 50,000 kg, an additional fee of US$ 6.00 per 1,000 kg will be applied.
-The All-Up Weight of the aircraft is categorized as follows: for weights from 75,001 kg to 100,000 kg, the initial charge applies to the first 75,000 kg. For any weight that exceeds 75,000 kg, there is a fee of US$ 293.25 for each additional 1,000 kg, along with a supplementary charge of US$ 7.35 for the excess weight.
-The All-Up Weight of the aircraft is categorized as follows: for weights exceeding 100,000 kilograms, the initial charge applies to the first 100,000 kilograms. For any weight above 100,000 kilograms, an additional fee of US$ 475.00 is charged for every 1,000 kilograms, along with a supplementary charge of US$ 8.55.
Parking Domestic
When an aircraft is parked no Parking Charges shall be levied for the first 3 hrs. Provided that the period of parking exceeds 3 hrs, then 6 each hrs will make one parking unit.
– The charge for aircraft with an All-Up Weight of up to 40,000 kilograms is Rs. 37.50 for every 1,000 kilograms.
– The All-Up Weight of the aircraft is categorized as follows: for weights ranging from 40,001 kilograms to 100,000 kilograms, the charge for the initial 40,000 kilograms is Rs. 1,500.00, and for each additional 1,000 kilograms beyond 40,000, the charge is Rs. 54.00.
-The All-Up Weight of the aircraft is categorized as follows: for weights exceeding 100,000 kilograms, the initial charge for the first 100,000 kilograms is Rs. 4,740.00, and for any additional weight beyond 100,000 kilograms, there is a charge of Rs. 75.00 for every 1,000 kilograms.
Parking International
When an aircraft is parked no Parking Charges shall be levied for the first 3 hrs. Provided that the period of parking exceeds 3 hrs, then 6 each hrs will make one parking unit. Charge will be charged as 25% of one parking at a time but Aircraft must be..

-The All-Up Weight of the aircraft is categorized as follows: for weights ranging from 10,000 kg to 100,000 kg, the charge for the first 50,000 kg is US$ 49.00, and for any weight exceeding 50,000 kg, an additional charge of US$ 1.05 per 1,000 kg applies.
-For aircraft with an All-Up Weight exceeding 100,000 kilograms, the fee structure is as follows: for weights exceeding 100,000 kilograms, the charge for the initial 100,000 kilograms is set at US$ 122.25, with an additional charge of US$ 1.95 for every subsequent 1,000 kilograms.
