KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing the effects of westerly winds, leading to partly to mostly cloudy conditions in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, while the rest of the country remains clear.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has also reported foggy conditions in various areas of the Terai.

The Department predicts that this afternoon, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, with clear skies elsewhere in the country.

Tonight, partly cloudy weather is expected in the hilly areas of both Koshi and Karnali Provinces, while the rest of the country will stay clear.

Additionally, the Department has warned of potential fog across many parts of the Terai on Saturday morning and has advised the public to be cautious, as it could affect daily activities, agriculture, health, transportation, and aviation.
