US dollar exchange rate increases

KATHMANDU: Today, the exchange rates of most foreign currencies, including the US dollar, Australian dollar, Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars, and British pounds, have risen.

However, the exchange rate of certain currencies, such as the euro, has fallen. The euro’s value has been gradually decreasing over the past four days.

According to the exchange rates published by Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is NPR 138.31, and the selling rate is NPR 138.91.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one US dollar was NPR 138.17, and the selling rate was NPR 138.77.

On Magh 2, the buying rate for one US dollar reached NPR 138.32, and the selling rate was NPR 138.92. This represents the highest-ever value of the US dollar in the Nepali market.

Similarly, today the buying rate for one euro is NPR 143.76, and the selling rate is NPR 144.38.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one euro was NPR 143.78, and the selling rate was NPR 144.40.

The buying rate for one British pound today is NPR 171.93, and the selling rate is NPR 172.68. Yesterday, the buying rate for one British pound was NPR 171.63, and the selling rate was NPR 172.37.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate today is NPR 86.13, and the selling rate is NPR 86.50. Yesterday, the buying rate for one Australian dollar was NPR 86.06, and the selling rate was NPR 86.43.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar today is NPR 448.37, and the selling rate is NPR 450.32. Yesterday, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar was NPR 447.88, and the selling rate was NPR 449.82.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar today is NPR 366.89, and the selling rate is NPR 368.49.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar was NPR 366.50, and the selling rate was NPR 368.09.
