Netherlands sets moderate target of 123 runs for victory

KATHMANDU: In the second match of the ongoing triangular series in the capital, the Netherlands has set a moderate target of 123 runs for victory.

Batting first after winning the toss at the Tribhuvan University Ground in Kirtipur, the Netherlands scored 122 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Captain Babit de Liede top-scored for the Netherlands with 52 runs. She hit eight fours in her 50-ball innings. Similarly, Aris Willing scored 28 runs. Thapacha Puttaong took two wickets for Thailand. Thailand has now come out to bat in reply.
