3 Nepalis killed, 1 injured in Saudi Arabia road collision

KATHMANDU: A tragic road accident in Saudi Arabia claimed the lives of three Nepalis, while one other is in critical condition.

The Nepali Embassy in Saudi Arabia confirmed the identities of the deceased as Rupak Karki from Udayapur, Krishna Khatri from Palpa, and Min Bahadur Rana from Kapilvastu.

Suk Bahadur Limbu from Ilam, who suffered severe injuries, is currently being treated in a hospital.

The incident took place when a bus carrying Nepali workers collided with a trailer on the Refinery Road in Jizan, Saudi Arabia.

Alongside the Nepali victims, nine Indian nationals and three Ghanaian nationals also lost their lives. A total of 11 individuals were injured in the accident.
