KATHMANDU: Netherlands Women beat Nepal Women by 15 runs in the ongoing Women’s T20I Tri-Series at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Sunday.
Batting first Netherlands posted a target of 141 runs for Nepal in the stipulated 20 overs in 9 wickets.
In response, Nepal managed 125 runs in the stipulated 20 overs in 9 wickets.
Nepal’s Indu Barma scored 30 runs, Samjhana Khadka 23, Puja Mahato 18, Kabita Joshi 14, Mamta Chaudhary 7, Sita Rana Magar 10, Alisha Yadav 5 and Rewati Dhami scored 2 runs but couldn’t stop a second loss with the Netherlands.
To stop Nepal, Netherlands bawlers Heather Siegers, Caroline de Lange and Iris Zwilling took 2 wickets each whereas Eva Lynch and Isabel van der Woning took a single wicket each.
